In 1995 Susan set up her own law practise, Susan Abro Attorney and at the same time accepted the invitation to be an associate of another leading Durban Law firm Silvia Ogelsvey and Partners.

Since setting up, Susan Abro Attorney has grown from strength to strength gaining an excellent reputation both in Durban where the practise is situated and across South Africa. Susan has clients in and travels to all of the major cities of South Africa, which include Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Pietermaritzburg. Susan has also been involved in a number of international law cases which has involved travelling to areas such as the Scandinavia countries.

In addition to her legal practise Susan dedicates a lot of her time to causes that she believes in and that require help of a legal or other nature, this can be seen by the number of committees she is involved in. one of these causes was for the rights of unmarried fathers which Susan addressed the South African Parliament in order to get changes mad to the South African Legal System in this area.
