Zambia, Zimbabwe & SA - Helicopter Flight 1

The next day we had an afternoon helicopter flight over The Falls booked so we spent the morning lazing at the poolside with amazing views of elephants in the river.

On our way to the helicopter base it started raining. This quickly progressed into a real African storm, pouring rain with giant claps of lightening and thunder. We could not believe that there was any chance of going flying and I was also quite concerned that I would not see too well with the grey skies and lack of contrast. The pilot was a really nice man and understood my concern so offered to take us up and, if I could not see well he would take us up again the next day. I sat in the front for this flight but struggled to pick out the details and kept asking the pilot to point out the bridge as I could not find it. I nevertheless took photos of where I thought things were and it is hard to believe I did not see them perfectly from the photos I managed to take (-:
