On our last day we had one final and really exciting adventure, SWIMMING at the top of The Victoria Falls. What an experience that was. We were taken across to Livingstone Island on a small motor boat. From there we were given a guided walk around the island with some different views of The Falls and then we were taken to the point where we would swim to the edge of the world. Our guide, Mosman, was wonderful. As soon as he saw I have trouble seeing he took my hand and guided me every step of the way across the rocks to where we went swimming. We sat in the pool at the edge of The Falls, looked over the ledge down The Falls and sat in a natural Jacuzzi. What an experience and what fun!!! After that we were given coffee and biscuits on the island before being taken back to the hotel. We had built up a good appetite from that so enjoyed our last breakfast out on the hotel restaurant veranda. Later we were taken back to the airport to fly back to Durban. What a holiday, what a treat, what an experience. Go and visit Zambia, Zimbabwe and The Victoria Falls, you will not be disappointed!!!
